House Chess Tournament IS a social and educational online event held exclusively to YOur students

Our arbiter/coach gives advice and strategy tips at the start of each round.
Your students get to be part of a team, interact with one another and with coaches.

Community, teamwork, friendships - all the best parts of being at school which we are missing during lockdown.

This Event can double as a selection process to determine the top players that will represent your School in a Zone event. 

interschool stages

• Kids Unlimited provides all resources, arbiter, coach and prizes (medals or trophies)
• School to provide a suitable playing hall, chairs and tables
• The event duration will depend on the time allocated for the event. Recommended duration:
  • 32 - 64 players: 2 hours duration, 5 rounds of chess (9am - 11:00am)
  • 65 - 99 players: 2.5 hours duration, 6 rounds of chess (9am - 11:30am)
  • 100 - 128 players:  3 hours, 7 rounds of chess (9am - 12pm)
• It is possible to have more than one division, e.g. Junior & Senior

• $10 (+GST) per player
• A minimum entry of 32 players is required
• If fewer than 32 students attend the event, a fixed rate of $320 (+GST) will apply
• All schools will be sent a tax-invoice reflecting the number of players who attended the event 48 hours after the event
